What are Shielding Systems & Cabins?
Shielding systems and cabins are modular protection solutions that separate machines and work areas from their surroundings. Depending on the application, they serve to protect personnel, protect sensitive processes or shield against noise, radiation and sparks.

Welding and laser cabins (ISO EN 25980-compliant)
Welding and laser cabins are used to protect against optical radiation, sparks and thermal stress. They consist of stable frame constructions with special fillings (e.g. polycarbonate, PETG or welding protection materials) that meet the requirements of ISO EN 25980.
This standard defines the safety-related properties of welding protection walls and curtains.
Especially in robotic welding cells and laser workstations, such cabins are indispensable to reliably protect workers, machines and processes.
Noise protection & particle cabins for manufacturing areas
In many manufacturing and processing processes, noise, dust, chips or particles are generated that must be shielded. Noise protection cabins combine a stable steel frame construction (EcoSteel) with sound-absorbing panels, while particle cabins prevent the ingress or egress of dirt and foreign matter through closed fillings (e.g. sheet metal).
They improve occupational safety and ergonomics and support compliance with regulations such as the Workplace Ordinance (ASR A3.7 – Noise).
Robotics and machine cabins
for automation and special machine construction
Robotics and machine cabins are specifically designed for use in automation technology. They offer an enclosed protective space around industrial robots, handling systems or processing machines and ensure a safe separation between man and machine. The cabins can be equipped with access and maintenance doors, viewing windows and safety switches and are tailored to all requirements. This allows risks to be reliably minimized without restricting the efficiency of production.
Special cabins
Individually tailored to customer-specific requirements and applicable standards
Special cabins are created where standard solutions are not sufficient. They are custom-designed according to customer specifications and can combine various functions: sound insulation, ESD protection, particle shielding or access controls.
Here, we are guided by the applicable Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC) as well as the upcoming EU Machinery Regulation 2023/1230. In this way, we ensure that our solutions are future-proof, standard-compliant and proven in practice.
